Fantastic staff with great food recommendations!! The Sunday roast and pies were to die for!! Plus portions were huge. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. Definitely a place to visit and I totally recommend the food served here, lovely atmosphere, warm and very friendly!! Raspberry and orange blossom spritz was perfect accompaniment to our meals.
This was a good experience. We were 9 and they accepted us, no worries.The dishes were good, we tested nearly the whole menu, nobody was disappointed, except maybe for a dessert that is a cheesecake but it is not described so, just a question of taste.

We had planned something a bit different to eat, but on popping in here for a pint we realised that it had to be a pie! Think we may have stopped in another of their pubs in the past. One Steak and Ale and one Lamb shank pie purchased and we hungrily tucked in. Delicious well cooked and far from the sloppy gravy pies most places sell. Fantastic meal, great staff and a lovely old world pub.
