Reviews for The Grand Café
The oldest coffee house in England, in any event, must be worth a visit. A beautiful building, a little cramped in places, but full of atmosphere - and very good, modern, coffee ☕️ ?
The place was almost empty, but we thought that we’d give it a go. It’s got the feel of an upmarket working men’s club. The tables look shabby, and the prices are high, for the calibre of the decor. Hot chocolates “you sexy thing” m, followed by clubbing music only served to create an atmosphere of basic cafe, rather than “grand”. Hard to know what the identity of this place actually is.On the plus size, the coffee blend was great. The latte was good.

A mother and daughter trip to enjoy afternoon tea in the oldest shop in England. The scones were especially soft and warm, the best we’ve had. Thank you for making our dream come true.
