Great place to go for real ale with a good selection of beers. CAMRA discount means good value especially when there was a group of us having a joint round as a group. Have been there before but better with friends out for a beer trip, as that is the main gf focus of the pub.
A nice pub in the city centre but just far enough of the beaten path that it does not feel like a city pub.Good atmosphere, great service good choice of drinks a refreshing break from the normal city pub.

It's a decent pub, friendly pleasant atmosphere with very good selection of draught beer and cider. The one thing I'd change is the very 'high' seating and the tables in the corner are too big to squeeze past comfortably. Minor thing for an otherwise perfect pub in a very central location.
