Fantastic pub with gourmet favourites with a twist like spinach gnocchi, fish and chips with housemade tartare sauce, bangers and mash and personal favourite, sticky date pudding. Great spot for a cocktail or pint as well as having some special 0% cocktails like NeSpresso (non-alcohilic espresso martini) or a Nojito (non-alcoholic mojito). Since the management here changed in June, many friends have told me that I must go. I did yesterday, and was totally bowled over. I had one of the specials...a beef rarebit.. Never had such a thing but it was absolutely delicious. Friends had a HUGE crisp fish with home made chips, and another had a hot salmon salad which looked delicious and apparently was. What a find.The service lived up to the food, very anxious to please and succeeding. Can't wait to go back.
