Me and my husband went for an over night stay here last night what a treat !! The rooms are amazing lovely decor we had a bath inside our room which we did try the bar area is full of charm and the food was amazing some Greek dishes on the menu which we tried loved it we will certainly be returning thanks again (didn’t catch the owners name but he was very welcoming )
This pub could have everything going for it, location etc but needs an injection of life as it will be forgotten about and end up closing, such a shame if it does because this place could be 5 star with the right menu and a bit more enthusiasm, it could be a jewel in Rutland but until that happens I would probably avoid for the time being save your money and you will avoid disappointment.

stumbled across this lovely place following a damp dog walk. The dog was welcome too and well thoroughly enjoyed himself receiving treats from staff (allowing other to believe he hadn't had any??).Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was very inviting.Highly recommended. didn't try their food but will return to do so.
