Great pub food, lousy and disappointing service. Some staff seemed disturbed and even annoyed by our presence. We prebooked by phone a table for 5. On arrival, we were greeted after a good couple of minutes of waiting, even if the place was empty - being Jan the 1st. The waitresses were having their break/meal at the bar and where bothered by our presence; none of them wanted to get up. Menu choice, food quality, price and service were very good.Atmosphere, as it was New Year's eve, was good.Minor quibble; as per previous visit, salmon which is on the menu, was unavailable again. But, fortunately, plenty of alternative choice.

Staff were welcoming, friendly and informative. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Lunch menu offer was great value for money with ample portions. The salad bar had a great selection to choose from. What a lovely choice for a relaxing meal.
