A fantastic little coffee shop and perfect place for lunch. My favourite café in Aboyne. I'd highly recommend At The Sign of the Blackface Sheep's hot chocolate and their vegan carrot cake. Their vegan/vegetarian bruschetta's are lovely too. Lots of great menu choices for lunches. This cafe was recommended to us by our host at the Furain Guesthouse and we're so glad it was. The food was fresh and delicious and the cakes are so nice. We had the chocolate almond cake and the carrot cake and both were delicious.They also have a shop at the front with some bespoke homeware which was really nice.Would definitely recommend if passing through Aboyne.

Only had cake & coffee but both were delish. Service was excellent - friendly, cherry, helpful. Convinced me of the cake I needed ?. How do you rate atmosphere? It was unflustered & relaxing which was what I needed after an explore by bike.
