Cross Stobs Inn
2-6 Grahamston Rd, Barrhead, GlasgowVisited the Cross Stobs earlier today with friends for a Christmas lunch. Excellent friendly service and plenty to enjoy from their menu. The food was great - homemade soup for all, two of us had turkey and trimmings, two had veggie/vegan options. We enjoyed a couple of games of pool in the room next to the bar, with some tunes on the jukebox. Great afternoon and we'll be back soon!

34 Glasgow Rd, Barrhead, GlasgowBeing new to Barrhead, I have only recently discovered this takeaway, after being repeatedly disappointed by my large, local takeaway in the Craighead area.The Jewel of Asia has never disappointed on any aspect of their service.The food os always rich, succulent, tasty and fresh. I know when this type of food is fresh, having worked as an assistant in a number of takeaways over the years.The staff are always polite and helpful despite working long hours which would put most of us of local heritage, to shame.With all this taken into account, they can not be beaten on price and generous portion sizes. There are even some meal deals and combos which would be hard to beat if you could cook them yourself.I hope this takeaway sticks to it's core values and continues to deliver great service to Barrhead and the surrounding area.

186, 188 Main St, Barrhead, GlasgowVisiting for the first time in a few years, and it's certainly changed , the staff are wonderful here I was served by a person by the name of Robert very kind and very helpful, young man also on with him very kind too Craig I think his name was, very kind and helpfull, hard at work brill to see new staff so keen to help with a smile , Good to see Sharon is still here remember here from years ago when my mum used to live here, overall clean tidy Food was very nice warm and tasty , definitely good value for money in this cost of living crisis Definitely will be back when I get the chance.

46 Cross Arthurlie St, Barrhead, GlasgowJust ordered the chicken jolanda and I ordered the extra hot,, it was delicious, I should have just got the normal hot though as it was lava levels of hot!. But delicious, chicken nice and tender, rice properly cooked also and a large naan bread to boot , red Fort the best in town by far!!

24 Glasgow Rd, GlasgowMy family and i recently booked here for after a funeral at Hurlet Crematorium for a family member. We went for the Bronze package which includes sandwiches, sausage rolls, tea & coffee. The spread was lovely and there was lots of it! Plenty for everyone and more! Great wee bar also. The staff were amazing and the prices are brilliant!! Plenty parking spaces also. Would 100% recommend this place for any function..big thank you to you all! ?

158a Main St, Barrhead, GlasgowTakeaway with a small sitting in area, which I used for a quick lunchtime bite. Lunchtime Special small pizza for £1.99 i think - ideal. Server even helped me with choosing the toppings.

26 Main St, Barrhead, GlasgowJust been to this local takeaway for some pakora on our way home and asked if I could have a very small portion of kebab for a young child so they wouldn’t feel left out Without hesitation the owner kindly gave me a very small portion of kebab for my child complimentary.Now that is what you call service exceeding customers expectations And the pakora was fantastic as usual There is no wonder that this is probably the fist choice stop for most in this area for their fast food fix. Thanks
