“The Blackbird is a veritable oasis in Carradale. The young couple who run it are friendly, chatty and the home baking they offer is excellent ?! Whether you go for the soup, the cakes or the scones you know it's home made and of great quality and taste. It's dog friendly too which is a BIG plus given the lack of dog friendly cafes on the Kintyre Peninsula. We noticed a lot of local clientele use the Blackbird, always a good sign. If you're in the area or passing through, definitely call in at the Blackbird!!”
