The Brae "is trying" ... quiz nights, steak nights, burger nights, and live music ? and more power to them ..... however, ..... the majority of the time we visit for lunch. Hi, the service and food was terrific, thought the portion sizes were just right and the menu catered for all tastes. Our server (a guy, I can’t recall his name) was excellent, very friendly and chipped in with a bit of banter which is always good.I have gave 5 stars across the board but I did want to provide a couple of observations. We bought 3 glass bottles of Coke which were £3.20 each, that seems a tad excessive, for context a pink gin and lemonade was only £3.00.Finally...read full review

We have been several times to the Brae, the food is always freshly made to order , really big portions and very well presented.
