Long standing bar in Dundee's Perth Road. Plenty of character and history. Lots of memorabilia portrayed on its walls, particularly relating to the Tay Railway Bridge from which the Bar derives its name. Decent pint at a reasonable price. Personally, I prefer the nearby Speedwell Bar (Mennies) but that's only my choice and I'm sure there are plenty of other people who would see things the other way round. 07/08/2022-Update : Bar is still, basically, as it always is and still serving...read full review
I have been using the TBB for years....however i have decided to put something on this website,,,,, It has been more noticeable that this bar does not care about customers toilet facilities ...Gents toilet has been swimming with water on occasions...and also gents private room is in a similar condition...graffiti etc.....these items have been have never been taken care of on a professional level...these items have been ongoing for approximately ..6-9 months + On speaking to bar...read full review
Good dog friendly Dundee bar that was a favourite of the sadly missed musical maestro Michael Marra. Good range of beer and they provide free snacks and nibbles during big sports games. I dropped a star because it can get really busy at times and there are often people smoking at the front door.
