Enjoyed a family lunch at Charwood and found it to be a great place to go. The food is a great standard and very tasty and there’s a good choice on the menu - something for everyone. The staff are very friendly and helpful even in very busy times.Only mark off was the phone kept ringing and it’s very loud but other than that we all enjoyed our experience very much.

I hired the Pentland Suite to host my father's funeral tea. The room is bright and welcoming, tables were beautifully laid out and it was great to have the use of our own bar for refreshments. The buffet was plentiful and appropriate, samosas in particular were delicious. The staff and management were lovely, and very attentive, making us feel most welcome. Intriguing restaurant, very family friendly, food is OK and decently priced. Hamburgers chargrilled, real good. A few typical local dishes, also good, including dessert. The ambience is nice, tables are well spaced, the decor is from 20 years ago - not modern. Food while ok, not top. We didn't try the pizzas. The kofta was the worst, but still good. Service is OK, they don't force you to tip like in the city centre - thank you!
