On our way back from Dean’s village, we stopped by this little bakery for a cinnamon bun, which we then ate peacefully on a bench in Princes street gardens at the ross fountain, an experience which we thoroughly recommend.Oh the smell of it! More on Insta @coffeescakesandcafes. I enjoyed a wee cuppa coffee & a DELICIOUS bun, not the largest sized cup but still a tasty roast. With products baked in Edinburgh, this Swedish cafe is a wonderful example of a small independent business thriving here in the city. The perfect setting for a wee read of one of my favourite books.

My delicious coffee, one of those that you sip and just go 'mmmm!', combined with the most perfect cinnamon bun made my morning in Stocksbridge just perfect! Good value for excellent quality, and nice polite chatty staff.
