Popped into shandwicks while out with friends only planned on a couple of beers the pub was so lively ended up staying for ages. As busy as yhe bar was never had any problem getting service with a smile from the bar staff.
I have just had a long weekend in Edinburgh and had heard about shandwicks. I had heard lots of negative things and so went in with low expectations but however by the end I had changed my mind completely. This place has pints for very cheap prices of £1.95 which is rare in any part of the country. My server was Finlay and he came across as a very kind lad and proceeded to ask about my day and what not while also giving me a very good pint even though it was in a plastic cup....read full review
