Highly recommended. The food was exquisite, the wine & whisky list extensive and the service from Hamish was absolutely spot on. We had the filo haggis parcels which were wonderful, the scallops were astoundingly good (and had a non-dairy variation which was much appreciated). The Fillet steak was perfectly cooked and the generous fries rounded the meal up nicely.
It’s difficult to get a booking in Edinburgh restaurants on a Friday night at the moment and so we were surprised to find a completely Empty restaurant. In fact we were the only table all night. The tables are decorated by vases with water but without any flowers . The staff were friendly and food very good ( in fact we had 3 absolutely perfectly cooked fillets) but it was evident the owner was not around or involved by the level of service we received. Popped in for a gin. What a lovely drink in a lovely atmosphere with lovely hospitality. A wide array of drinks, including gin, wine and whiskys'. The food menu looked lovely with lots of Scottish favourites available, we will be back to try. Thank you so much ❣️
