Myself and my daughter both had the gluten free menu, overall it was pretty good. We received a warm welcome, and the food was pretty good for gluten free, slight disappointment was the brownie which is a shame as it’s one of the easiest things to make gluten free but it was really dry and some of the sandwich fillers were not to my taste. This could have been a lovely afternoon tea experience but it fell short of the 5 star experience we were looking forward to. We were the only guests in The Register Club and had to wait while our server set up our table. The server never introduced himself, didn't confirm tea and coffee were included with our afternoon tea, had to prompt him for our champagne and also had to ask 4 times for water.
