Finding somewhere to eat in this area is a bit limited so we took our chances with The New Inn. Arrived at 19:45 and asked about an evening meal and were told the kitchen would close at 20:00 so we would have to be quick so not the most inviting of starts. The menu options are pretty standard pub grub and a little on the pricey side given the offerings, little on offer if you want a light bite or vegetarian option. Nice pub was very busy and we didn’t get a proper table in the restaurant, but the food was nice but not much atmosphere as everybody seemed busy .Parking: Car park at side of pub bit tight but fine

Had afternoon lunch here and was not disappointed. Great location quaint pub. Lovely pate starter followed by highlander chicken and both sumptuous. Friendly staff and loved the room were we ate. As it was afternoon we were on are own with dog which suited us fine. Definitely be back here when in the area again.
