The best kosher option for us when traveling to Scotland is to order our food in advance from Chabad, then have it frozen and ready for pick up in Glasgow.On this trip, we paid £300 for two weeks of food, enough for four adults. We got soups, kugels, chicken, beef, strudel, vegetables, rice, and lasagna. To make it work, we bought a 220V crockpot and a power converter for our electric hot plate. For kosher travelers in Scotland, this Chabad-run restaurant and caterer is indispensable. We had meals for Shabbat and weekdays delivered to our hotel in Glasgow and they were excellent (complete with challah and wine for Shabbat). Moreover, Rabbi Jacobs was responsive and solicitous of our needs. Did I say the food was really good?

I was staying at Cameron House by Loch Lomand. Not only did Rabbi Jacobs make yummy food but he went out of his way to help me find transportation, saving me money on a seperate delivery charge and taxi. He put the food in the taxi and had it take me to the hotel. This was above and beyond! Great food, next level service!
