My wife and I are from New York. My wife attended Glasgow university. Being from New York I think I know good food. While my wife studied, I traveled around Scotland enjoying the country and the food. I tried food and dozens of chippy shops around Scotland. Many of them with awards in the window. But chip chick inn around the corner from our flat hands down best fish and chips I had. And I enjoy the regular fish over the special. 1st time here since my mum passed 2.5 years ago her and my dad loved the chip chick inn. What a waste of £18.60 Special fish cold, sausage cold and chips cold what a waste of money. Special fish all broken up ( see attached photo), my dad had special fish out here 40 years ago and it was better looking tasting and definitely warmer.
