The James Watt is a warm and welcoming establishment with a great selection of beers, I.P.A.s, and wine. The restaurant offers fantastic meal deals that include a drink, and the fish and chips, halloumi chips, and chicken strips burger are all delicious. The staff work hard with a smile, and the overall experience is excellent, despite the place being a bit grubby and in need of a thorough cleaning. Nonetheless, the reasonable prices and popularity of the restaurant make it a credit to the city of Greenock.
