We were expecting some highland food menu being in highlands, but the menu only has 2 Scottish dishes, the rest was pizzas, sandwiches and Indian. Smoke haddock mac n cheese was very good, but the portions were too small for the price, £18. Ridiculous price for a glass of coke zero being £4.50. Staff was nice and friendly. Overall good place to eat but very expensive. £20 for fish and chips….

We had an excellent stay here, super clean suite rooms with all possible amenities.The service was wonderful from entry to exit. The environment takes us back to an ancient era.The staff were always very helpful, everything we needed was always taken care of immediately.The breakfast was wonderful. Good and delicious food.Not to mention the animals that live free and are always around the hotel. The cluanie inn is fantastic. My friend and I had just walked the south glen shiel ridge in winter and it had taken us longer than expected (nearly 15 hours). When we got down, we went into the pub to see if they could help us order a taxi to get back to our car which was 15km west down the valley. They were so kind and helpful that we ended up staying.
