It was okay... I wouldn't usually write a bad review but feel I need to as I was quite disappointed with the experience. The check in process was not quite what we usually expect. No guidance given on where facilities are, toilets, taps etc. The toilets and showers are definitely due an upgrade. However these are easy to walk to and close to all camping spots as central. The camping area is 80% on a slope. No enforcement of quiet after 10pm which was a shame as on both nights...read full review
Set in the idyllic countryside of Perthshire with stunning views. Family and dog friendly. A lack of public transport passing by the place is a bit of a let down though. Considering that the road has a distinct absence of pavements, it being the main artery between Killin and Aberfeldy making walking a somewhat precarious undertaking. Really good food and service. The Cullen skink was excellent and served boiling hot with lovely bread. The fish and chips were crispy and delicious as was the hunters chicken. Highly recommend this restaurant
