We are lucky to live in Thornton, and Toby's is our go to chippy. Always fresh, fast and efficient service, and even when it's a big order, they are always on top of it.We sit in often, and it's just a lovely wee place. Wouldn't go anywhere else!
Searched google for the best fish and chips in the area and Toby's came up. Lots of options on the menu and the opportunity to order ahead. Option to eat inside, but we took it to go. The staff were excellent. They were friendly and quick to offer solutions to our problems. We are used to having vinegar packets in Canada, here they gave a wonderful coating of salt, vinegar, ketchup and brown sauce on the fries. We asked for the vinegar on the side (for some of our other eaters)...read full review

Great little local fish n chip shop. I had haggis and my wife had haddock. Both were delicious. We ate in and the service was friendly and attentive. We were exhausted after a long drive from near London and this was just what we needed???
