Bar • “I love staying here when I am over in Scotland for work. The location is stunning and surrounding walks are fantastic in the evening. I stayed in a riverside cottage and it is great value for the price with lovely views over the river - it is so peaceful listening to the river at night.In general I do not have any major complaints, the only complaint I would have around the food in the restaurant is the quality of the beef burgers - I was really disappointed with the meat quality and texture for the price, it was lacking any flavour and came across as cooked from frozen. I think there is a lot to be said about a nice fresh burger. The hand cut chips were great though! Other items I tried from the menu were much tastier, such as the pork belly.”
