Stayed 2 nights for hogmanay gala and ball. It was fantastic from start to finish. Rooms were good size beds very comfy great sleep. Food excellent, hats off to John and his team nothing was a bother for them very helpful. The fireworks display at midnight were amazing. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Absolutely loved every minute of this beautiful, fresh, clean hotel and the millIt truly was a fantastic experience and we will definitely come back soon. Wow, what an absolutely amazing 360 the hotel has taken since John has returned as manager! Thank goodness! Last year I wrote a review for our Christmas residential saying it was way below par under the management as was then compared to previous years! I even wrote to the Trustees as the manager at the time hadn’t liked what I had to say! I even raised concerns for the site’s World Heritage Site’s status as it was so obviously failing!Now thankfully it’s being restored...read full review
