Absolute gem of a place! As soon as we walked through the door we knew this was our kind of pub. Such a friendly atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff and the food is amazing. Sophia was our server and at 17 years of age she was fantastic, very knowledgable and clearly enjoys her job!I opted for the Haggis bon bons to start and wow! Then for mains I had the Fillet Steak Sandwich with skinny fries and my fiancée had the sea bass which was cooked to perfection with crispy skin!...read full review

We visited this evening and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I had the steak pie and it was full of quality meat. My husband had the haggis stack and it was beautiful. We hadnt booked a table but we were seated quickly by our very friendly waiter (sorry didnt get his name). Well worth a visit. Reasonably priced.

Nice place.Not flash but very nice. Country pub atmosphere without being a pub as such.I felt that you might feel a bit uncomfortable if you went for a few beers with mates.You’re close to the diners so you’d have to perhaps show greater consideration than you otherwise might in a traditional pub.The food was nice and reasonable value for money.Staff were courteous and accomodating of alight menus tweaks to suit what you wanted which is nice.Worth a trip.
