We had a terrible experience this weekend here. Firstly, we had a table booked for 14 since September for an 80th birthday celebration and the service in here ruined our night. They told us they never had our booking and ended up moving us tables twice to which the manager and a staff member jokingly said to eachother wow you could have told me you were using my big table and they laughed as we walked past them. Had a pleasant visit. The place is lovely with a stunning view. However let down by the fact that the staff took our food order and we checked after 45 minutes why it had not arrived yet to be told the kitchen was shut however would open soon. Beautiful hotel and restaurant with stunning views across the loch. The food was really nice and well presented (I recommend trying the tattie scone nachos). The prices are a little high in my opinion but to be expected in such a beautiful setting. The staff are all friendly and attentive and provide a really efficient service. ***Side note...tip staff if you can afford to, they're not paid nearly enough what their graft is worth***We visited for breakfast, lunch and dinner....read full review
