Monterey Jack's at M&D's Scotland's Theme Park

All I know is they don’t advertise enough and people are missing out, I have lived in the area for 3 years and didn’t even know they were there! Food was incredible! Very generous portions, no place for dessert! Nice atmosphere, lots of families out for lunch, just a great overall experience, we will be back

Wen I got it first order it was spicy I called said to restraunt and they sent a delicious replacement all rest of order was so tasty and good sizes will order again for sure

Fantasty Wok

What can I say, after this lovely place opened all those years ago, I have been going to it, the food is brilliant, never had anything wrong at all for years, Salt n Chilli is the best about and don't get me started on the ribs which are amazing. Has and is my favourite takeaway around, writing this while eating their food for long due review. All the staff are very helpful and friendly i might add also ?

My family and i had Christmas day dinner here yesterday, it was fantastic, the staff were fabulous, the service was so fast with drinks and different courses, the food was so tasty, my partner and i had the soup, roast dinner, profiteroles and winter berry pavlova, my daughter had the garlic bread, pizza and then build your own brownie, brilliant value for money, we couldnt eat another thing all day

Tony Macaroni

This was my first time ordering from Tony Macaronis. I ordered for delivery well in advance for when they started to deliver. My order consisted of Freshly made real Calamari (not many other places do this) starters and a main course of some lasagne with broccoli. They came with two different sauces for the Calamari and some fresh powdered parmesan cheese to add as I pleased. The calamari I'd give a 10/10 and recommend it to anyone who enjoys it and the lasagne I'm part way through is delicious 10/10. I'm not the best at ordering anything so a big Thanks so much to the lady on the phone, a thanks to the staff, a big thanks to the Chef and a massive thanks to the very polite man who was delivering my food too. Very friendly with a huge smile on his face which is lovely to see compared to other places.. Nice trainers too ?

Absolutely perfect place for a quick bite to eat. It's busy and some products were short. But ovens were on so more on the way. Clean, tidy, friendly staff. Recommended, yes !!

Indian Villa Restaurant

Consistently the best Indian restaurant and takeaway in Motherwell & the surrounding area. Been going for over 20 years and it never disappoints. Always flavoursome, never too salty or greasy. And the chicken tikka - aw, just sublime. Highly recommend ?

The Steelworks Bar & Grill

We visited on a football day (Motherwell football stadium is close by). No problems as only home football colours are allowed. Staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. Worth a visit.

I thought it was like an after school club, because I mean like "curry club" what kind of take away says club and not give free food. Anyways I asked if they has strawberry curry and guess what! They said they don't. My freind mark dahanahda told me about this and I think not even he likes

No had one out of here for a few yr .due to all holytown ones being shut last Wednesday or a wouldn't have been. But was fantastic. Staff really freindly in friendlies ?

Brandon Takeaway

You get a full(big) plate worth and 2 fish - and they are good! Chips are perfect and the fish and its batter are just right, crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside.

Plutus Fish & Chips

Found this chippy on the way back from picking the wife up from her pals in Uddingston. SUPERB. !! 10pm at night. Got a sausage supper, and it was fresh , hot and crispy. Staff really friendly too. Good parking space outside too.

First time back at this chip shop for a good few years,I wont leave it as long until I revisit as the food tonight was top notch definitely recommend this chip shop.

Modern shop, friendly service. Open kitchen.
I got the mixed meat satay skewers.
The chicken was very good but the beef very chewy.
The satay sauce which came separately was different to any other I have had locally. Very creamy and no heat. Was a very pleasant change.
Would have been a 5 if the beef had not been chewy.
Would try again.
Parking to the front of the shop although can get busy at times.

My son's review as I went to the Chinese next door.
Service very friendly and efficient.
I order a doner hoggi with no salad.
The photo really doesn't do it justice.
Massive portion of doner. Meat was above average. Chips and cheese were tasty. Pakora sauce also very good.
Would recommend.
Shame it was not in a chapati. A very 4.5 overall for me.

Customer service was excellent.
Got a mixed hoggi and was not expecting much. Donner kebab meat maybe slightly above average. Chicken tikka was excellent. Well filled and very tasty. Only downfall was the menu said it was served on a chapati, but was served on a standard wrap.
Great to have the parking to the rear of the show.

Most underrated Chinese in Motherwell honestly 10/10 banging , chicken satay is always top quality beautiful sauce , good portions good prices all round make sure to visit the shop and not use these online services as it’s such a nice chill atmosphere nice friendly owners , hidden gem of Motherwell

Excellent food. Both the starter and main course were excellent. Delicious prawn purée. I asked if they could make me a lamb Phal (extra extra hot) dish which was not on the menu. The dish I received was outstanding and just what I wanted. Tender lamb and a rich sauce. Very impressed and reasonably priced. Next time I’m in Glasgow I will be back.

Ordered Chicken & Fried Rice, and Fresh fried battered Onion Rings..The food delivered on time and was piping hot and was freshly made. The chicken was so tender and juicy I could cut through it with the edge of my soon, the portions were large

Definitely the best punjabi food around Scotland. Visited this place everytime I'm around Scotland. On Each occison Singh has deliveried the best quality of apna food and service. Home made meat dishes specials are to die for! You know your curry is right when there's hardly any grease coming out not like many of these so called takeaways that drench the curry in oil.Ask for a special curry and yourll be please. Honestly wish this place was closer to home. This type of food is rare to come across and im so glad I bumped in to this jem of a takeway!Thumps up completely :)

Kebab meat is the best I’ve ever tried great food and lovely staff, fast deliveries, good chips could go on forever. Guy at the front with the combed backed hair is a pure gentlemen and good guy. Must visit best in Scotland

Good Will

Really good food, very friendly staff and you never need to wait too long. Salt and pepper chicken balls and the battered salt and pepper chips covered in curry sauce is a must.Parking: Small amount of street parking out front or a small carpark around the back of it.

Lucky Star Motherwell Chinese Takeaway

Chinese is my go-to takeaway. I tried perhaps 5-6 Chinese takeaways when I moved to Motherwell but Lucky Star is for me, the best. They have the kind of curry sauce I really like, and I love that they give you an option to make it hot (but sadly does cost extra). Their BBQ ribs in gravy and their chow mein with gravy are both heavenly, and their chop sui is pretty tasty too.

You need to try their chicken noodle soup and pay for the 'make it hot' option... It's something special.

PS. They used to be part of Uber One but after that changed, they introduced a £4 delivery fee and increased dish prices, so been ordering less ?

The beef was above average, plenty of veg & cashews. Only thing was it was very hot.

Regular drop in for dinner, before going to Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. This time to see The Manfreds, as usual the food was top class, the chicken and sweetcorn soup was amazing, followed by chicken green pepper and black bean sauce. ?

Hup Lee Chinese Takeaway

Food was amazing. We ordered some picky bits for everyone to share. the steak ramen was beautiful however we felt like the steak was a little bit over done. The Korean fried chicken was amazing! As was everything else. Highly recommend and will be ordering again.

Absolutely outstanding chinese food! Struggled to find a Chinese takeaway that done it right but finally found one in this little gem! Large portions and full of flavour and great quality. Will be back!

Mayflower Chinese Takeaway

a lot of hype regarding this take away on social media which they have nailed but what about the food and service?
Order : Beef curry hot fried rice and chips.
Service: Very clean and tidy with seating waiting time not bad considering it was a Friday evening. Simon took order behind full plexiglass counter, (not very welcoming ) and quickly disappeared into the kitchen. 4/5
Taste: Beef in curry was excellent thick sauce and spicy rice did go cold rather quick and chips were decent.4/5
Portion sizes were a little smaller than most places ( foil containers ) and price is a good 10%-15% more expensive on average ( cash only typical Chinese ) .3/5
Overall: Decent but not the best as claimed on their social media accounts. 4/5

Literally just finished a takeaway from our favourite place……when just finished isn’t true because the portions are huge I’ll be nibbling all night. Kamran has been our go to takeaway for years,never lets us down. Tonight we tried something different from the usual order and …..omg…..fabulous. Chicken bhoona…..and chicken tikka….superb. The tikka from the Kamran is my favourite dish ever from any takeaway. Fantastic food….great value for money…..portion size amazing and top class driver. Open a restaurant and we are there first ! \nThanks again guys.

Went here last night and cannot rate it highly enough . It was the best special fish batters fish black pudding and chips we’ve tasted in Motherwell in years . Everything we got was excellent piping hot and it was all freshly made . We picked it up so that’s why is was lovely and hot . We will definitely be back as it’s streets in front of anywhere else . Give it a go you’ll not be disappointed.

Still a good chippy. Lots of others around have really dropped their quality, so this is the only place we currently use. Nice fish, great chips, quick and friendly service.

Da Claudio

Excellent food, served well and importantly on a hot plate, I would highly recommend this restaurant and if in Motherwell give it a go.
If I had to be really picky, I would say the music didn’t suit the environment, however that was a very minor issue. Don’t let it stop you trying the food. I had the chicken with haggis and it was very tasty and well presented.
I also had a glass of Malbec (unsure what country) I would guess South American, was served at the right temperature and was full bodied as you would expect.

The Railway Tavern

I was only in Motherwell for one night, meeting up with a friend and we decided to the Railway Tavern. On entry we were greeted by a friendly barman, who asked our round as my friend found us a seat. The price of the drink was very reasonable (£4.50 for a Guiness) and as the drink settled the barman, said to take a seat and he would bring the drink to the table - overall this is excellent service by any standard. As it a Wednesday evening the bar was not too busy but the clientele were friendly and created a great feel and atmosphere. As the drink flowed down, I had to use the Gents toilet, which was clean, with soap dispensers and air dryers. The RT also has a neat Beer Garden, which was pretty busy but we decided to stay inside, as the Scottish weather was trying to decide between letting the sun out from behind the clouds or letting the rain out to fall!
Overall we had a great night and I would highly recommend a visit to the Railway Tavern, if you are ever in Motherwell.

New Century

staff are amazing and the food is great can't get a better pub in Motherwell that's why we always come back the staff and grant make you more than welcome would definitely give it a 5* plus

The Railway Tavern

This place is amazing as an old style local pub. Jane and Maggie are both wonderful to chat with, and the atmosphere is great too. If you're looking for something modern and all that nonsense, then you won't find it here, but if you want homely and welcoming with a great friendly atmosphere, then this is your place. I've passed here loads of times in my truck and never gave it a second thought, but I'm so glad I visited this evening. Will definitely be back here when I'm next in the area. Oh, and make sure you bring cash, no card machine or WIFI in sight, but I'm OK with that. This place is what proper pubs used to be, thanks ladies xx

Great staff and good for a laugh, always keep themselves busy but have time to talk to the average punter. Good music as well as a pool tableGreat pub that has stood the test of time well.

every thing about the White is Fantastic JB and Janice no how to run a Pub got to be the.best pub this side of Scotland Bar staff are Brilliant nothing is a bother look forward to going to my local every Saturday every one is so friendly but what makes it is the way that is run and you can only thank JB and Janice keep up the good work

Upper Crust

Upper Crust is the benchmark by which all other sandwich and snack bars are measured locally. Sadly though this business has had to pass on the myriad of inflationary costs to their customer. So it's reputation for unrivalled value for money has taken a bit of a hit. But as the saying goes you only get what you pay for.Parking: It's a busy wee street.

The Woodcutter Bar

The Woodcutter Bar in Motherwell is a fantastic spot for great food, drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere. The menu offers delicious pub classics with a modern twist, and the portions are generous. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making it a great place for both casual meals and nights out with friends. The cozy interior and occasional live music add to the charm. Highly recommended for a tasty meal and good vibes.

Silver Moon

Today was the first time that I have bought from the Silver Moon.
I didn’t know what I was missing.
The Red Chicken breast curry was excellent.
Extra onions recommended.
Service with a smile.
I will certainly be back to try their other dishes.

Great owners great staff great customers, relaxed friendly atmosphere never once felt unwelcome.. highly recommend it its a great wee pub full of friendly folk, only gave 5 star review because 10 stars wasn't an option! Never had a bad time there, great pint of Guinnes?

I've gotta say, for a Spoons this place was lovely! Food quality was great, and quick. And I think this is the first Spoons I've went to where you didn't have to climb a mountain to get to the loos ? would actually come back here next time out Motherwell way

We ordered a just eat and it took two hours which wasn’t the restaurants fault I gave them a phone and they were so lovely they made sure our food wasn’t cold and gave us complementary doughnuts for the wait

Deli Express

Amazing I got a chicken burger with southwest sauce, bacon was so crispy and salad was fresh, came with Cajun chips with southwest sauce on top and me and my partner would agree it is the best chips we have ever had. Will definitely be paying them a visit again.

The Railway Inn

They don’t serve food but will happy order for you, great place and great vibe I would 100% recommend anyone passing to pop in or come in if your local! Kids and dogs welcome!

Staff are friendly and welcoming, I was here for two weeks for work and when I come in they introduced me to the locals warmly and they welcomed me with open arms, had some real fun here and I’m truly sad I’ll be going but with the experience I’ve had here I’ll be back for a holiday just to come here and that says it all!

Kid-friendliness: Kids are more than welcome here and the staff or punters are very welcoming in a nice way!!

Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance can certainly fit a wheel chair thought but if help is required I’m confident the staff or punters will help

Love this place! The staff and customers are friendly and welcoming. You may enter as a stranger but you will certainly leave this cosy little pub as a friend (and perhaps a sore head in the morning!)

Chanda cottage Indian cuisine (Motherwell)

Great food, pizzas are the best, coming here every weekend for the last 4 years. can’t get enough of the place.

Vegetarian options: has a part of the menu that has all types of vegetable curry’s and other starters such as the vegetable pakora etc

Dietary restrictions: All the food is halal, and also has pescatarian options and vegetarian options

Kid-friendliness: Also has desserts for the little ones such as ice cream and cookies

Went in with my colleague this morning and had breakfast roll and a cake each, with a tea and a can… incredibly reasonable price, I’d go as far as to say cheap at £7odd each considering the food was of exceptional quality!!We will be back… probably daily now we know about you!

Ordered the breast of chicken chow mein. Noodles were tasty, besnsprouts crunchy and the gravy fantastic. Sadly the breast of chicken itself was dry (possibly overcooked)
I will certainly be giving the place dhuther try with a different dish.
Parking is not an issue.

Tao Chinese takeaway

This is our first time ordering from here for a family dinner. We were very impressed. The food arrived on time, it was hot, the portions were very good and everything was delicious. Unlike other places we’ve tried, there was a good number of vegetarian options!!!

Stuck in with covid n thought id try this local business for first time. Glad i did. The pizza (thin base/spicy chicken) was excellent. First time i have used Urban Spice and il be back in future. Appreciate the delivery driver leaving at door as i am isolating with covid. Once im better il give u a tip for a great service. Thank u

This has to be the best takeaway I've ever had and I'm in my 60s and have eaten all over central Scotland. The meals are delicious and are not salty as you often find. Prices are great and the service is superb. My family and I have tried a varied selection from the menu and everything is great. Such a good food place.

Told its the government tax ,, When i said its for plastic bags as they dont decompose in land fill ,, I was told Its because its a branded bag ,,, RUBBISH MATE its meant to be a tax on plastic bags ,, So i say to you folk ask see what the answer you get
