Went in for a coffee and cake. I had the honey oat slice with a coffee which was the most perfect combination. Coffee was lovely and the slice was the best slice ever tasted. My hubs had a bacon roll which he really enjoyed. All in all would recommend this place. Staff really friendly and service great.
As an American, I am not in the habit of drinking tea every day. But we were walking near the beach on a cold, rainy November day and wanted to warm up. Tea sounded like a good idea. We ducked into JP's and were seated at the back in a cozy table (there were 3 of us). I wasn't hungry (having eaten a big lunch) so my eyes went right to the teas on the menu. We arrived near closing however the staff were absolutely lovely . We said we wouldn’t be long so we stayed for coffee and cake . Excellent coffee and such nice friendly staff . So bought some coffee ( hazelnut ) to take away ?
