We popped in for a quick coffee on New Yer's Eve when the village was quite busy. The cafe was busy with no spare tables so the lady took our names and said we would getr a table soon. We were duly called and seated. We both chose flat white coffees and each had a scone which came complete with butter cream and jam. Great cafe. The food is very tasty and well portioned and there are plenty of dietary alternatives. The place itself is nicely laid out and atmospheric, and the staff are wonderful. I visited with my dog and they couldn't have been more welcoming to us. I really recommend the carrot cake ?

Stopped here for some lunch on my wife's birthday and were so happy we did. We had the most amazing home made lentil soup followed by the best ever homemade vegan chocolate cake. I'm not vegan but the cake was superb. And to top it all off the hot chocolate was to die for. All this sitting by the heat off the fire stoked with logs. Would deffinetly recommend.
