We called in twice for an evening meal at the Philipburn Hotel during our stay in the Selkirk area and found that the food & the service was just amazing. The place is spotlessly clean and the attention to detail is seen throughout the Hotel. The quality of all the food was excellent and the presentation of all the courses was so professional. This is a beautiful hotel in lovely surroundings. Everything has been tastefully designed. The food was excellent. The gardens were beautiful. The lounge was lovely to relax in. Storage facilities for cycles was very impressive.

Went for 2 nights stay for cousins 60th. Room was well above our expectations. Spacious , clean and comfortable. Garden room was a bonus, sat out few hours. Gardens were well kept and lots of it. Hotel was beautifully decorated throughout, so tasteful. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this lovely family owned hotel.
