“The staff dealt with us very efficiently and effectively, they were so attentive but not overwhelmingly. Only expected to get a few drinks and food but ended up having a boozy afternoon which went down a treat! Shoutout to Louis, Rachel and Iona who made sure we had a great afternoon! Thank you again!”

“When in the area I always visit this place and again I and my friends weren't disappointed. My only criticism was that , I appreciate we were 6 minutes late , we seemed to be rushed to our table and rushed to chose our food from the menu. A more relaxed approach suits me better. “What a lovey place! We stopped for an evening meal on a Sunday while passing through. 2 adult and 1 child meal- portions were perfect. The roast beef was the best I have ever had. Just enough room for us to share the raspberry Sunday.

“Our recent visit to Ziggy's was great! The food was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were very generous. Ziggy's offers a fantastic selection of steaks, burgers, and fajitas that are full of flavour and beautifully presented. The kids' menu had plenty of choices which would suit even the fussiest children, making it perfect for families.

To top it off, the prices were very reasonable, making it great value for the quality of the meal. Our family of four, including two adults and two kids, loved every moment of our dining experience.

A special shoutout to our server, who we think was called Ailsa based on the info on our receipt. She was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed which added to our wonderful experience. The service in general was quick and efficient.

We highly recommend Ziggy's to anyone visiting St Andrews or looking for a new place to try. We can’t wait to go back!

“Lovely family resteraunt attached to the caravan park. Fantastic views over the countryside. Good set of family uncomplicated favourites on the menu. Nice fresh tasty fare. Selection of cakes. If you are on the road with a young family, this would be a great stop.

“This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. The last time was nearly ten years ago, and I enjoyed my stay back then, which is why I decided to return. I have thoroughly enjoyed my two-night stay this time as well.

The hotel’s reception staff was kind and very helpful, assisting me in upgrading to one of the executive rooms. The Old Tom Morris room is absolutely worth the cost, as it is the most spacious on-site, with a great sea view, very quiet (which is vital for a good night's sleep), and a super-large bathroom with a roll-top bath. I love the room's decoration and color scheme, which gives me a warm, relaxing feel.

The location of the hotel is as convenient as ever, which is one of the reasons I chose to stay here in the first place. It's within a 10-minute walk to the heart of the town, and there are sufficient parking spaces in front of the hotel as well. I have fond memories of the hotel’s breakfast, and the quality has not dropped over the years. There are many hot dishes to choose from, and the fruits and yogurt are still my favorites.

I would also like to give a special mention to the efficient service of the housekeeping staff. After I requested additional bath cubes and shower gel at reception, they were delivered to my room before I even returned upstairs!

Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Du Vin St Andrews, and it will always be my first choice of accommodation when I visit St Andrews.”
