The atmosphere is very friendly. Scallops were lovely, the black sausage was cooked to perfection. Fish pie was great just would like to have a little more of the delicious sauce. Salmon with pecan crust was. A little underdone but was fixed quickly by the kitchen. The portions were generous, I even left some! The mango sorbet and coffee affiliations were both well done to perfection.
Always busy and booking required at weekends. Guest ales are local and they even make one themselves! Food is good but similar to Edinburgh prices. Overall recommended and nice for a walk if you're staying in one of the local campsites.Edit. Now London prices!

So friendly and quaint and totally relaxing after a full day at the golf course. Totally worth the short drive from st Andrews and you wont regret it. Enjoyed some Friday nite music as well. Food was great and the view across the road is fantastic.
