We visited for dinner and the restaurant was busy but staff were great at making you feel you where the only ones in the room. The food presentation was amazing and the taste was great , the chefs definitely put love in to producing quality food . I could spend all day typing but just don’t take my word, please visit. I know you are waiting for it and when the bill came I would have expected to pay much more. We will be back !!!!
We celebrated our 51st wedding anniversary at Rufflets with a meal paid for by friends. The setting is excellent and the staff attentive and very professional. Our food choices were spot on and without fault. The dining room was quiet on the Sunday evening in question which was a little disappointing. However in no way did this detract from the occasion. Rufflets is one of several excellent restaurants in St Andrews.

Great food and exceptional value - Michelin starred quality food.Local produce from the large kitchen garden compliments Scottish produce.There are traditional options such as fish and chips / burgers and steak - however I presume this is for the American clientele who stay here. Definitely worthwhile trying the fine dining dishes.
