NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER!My partner said she had here the food in here was quite nice and wanted to try it.We got here and I did not want to try or even go into the pub. When we walked in you could see the pub was dated and not in the best of conditions.At the bar we were met by a really lovely young lady who served us really well and was a credit to the inn.The pub is clean and has a lovely open fire which was on and it felt some homely. Hidden Gem!Been meaning to visit The Arkhouse after seen their Facebook pictures of the food, took the family out for my daughters birthday and the food is unreal!!Service was great everyone’s was friendly will definitely be back soon!Food & drinks: We had 4 adults meals 2 kids meals and 6 drinks and was around £65, didn’t wait long for food our waitress was lovely very assertive, enjoy every bite!! Highly recommended.

A hidden gem. Dog friendly pub that we stopped in for lunch. Super friendly and welcoming staff. The food was delicious and the portions huge. Left well fed and will definitely be back next time we are in the area. Thank you
