249-251 Main St, WishawI have been looking forward to trying Artisan for years, for some reason things kept getting in the way to try it out. After so long I had built it up and was so excited to try it and it's a shame..... that I didn't get the chance to get here previously! At this point it is a pilgrimage for any whisky lover to visit the amazing Artisan restaurant and bar. Let's start off with the basics. It's Wishaw so a bit of a jaunt to get to, especially during a storm just before Christmas, but walking in and seeing the collection made all the effort, (that my other half made driving here), worthwhile. They have over 3,200 whiskies available and believe me, I wanted to put a dent in it! But before I get ahead of myself, the restaurant itself is nice, decent enough space and if you like distillery sheek then the decor is on point. The food. This was the true surprise of the visit, the haggis was special, moreish, warming a bit spicy, it went down very well indeed. The octomore burger was huge, as a big eater I still struggled with it! The food is worth the journey alone but.... then we get to the whisky. If you want to try it, they probably have it. The last 8 or 9 years worth of octomore, got it. Every release of Glenfarclas for the last 10 year, two of each! Ardnamurchan, Arran, and even Ardnahoe! I had one of each of the above as ending with an Ardbeg BizarreBQ, if you know, you know, and a Glendronoch 15 year old which was great too. The knowledge and passion they have is spectacular and special. Will I be back, yes, yes and yes. I almost forgot to say, the prices. Now you can buy a £3.50 standard whisky, go for some adventurous ones like I did between £6 and £9 a dram or push the boat out and go for drams up to over £100 each. But the prices are good. Really good. Worth the trip, worth every penny for the food and the whisky. I'll be back soon!

Gyropolis - Greek Traditional Grill House
163 Main St, WishawAn authentic taste of Greece in Wishaw. Ate this meal with my Greek fiance and we both agreed that this is the closest gyros we have tasted in the UK. Gyropolis will be my 1st stop each time I visit home.

We drove just over an hour to visit Toni’s in Wishaw after spotting his TikTok video about the Easter Sunday deep fried eggs—and let me tell you, it was so worth the trip!
Before setting off, we gave them a call (just to be sure it wasn’t too good to be true), and the lovely woman who answered the phone confirmed it was 100% real—she was so kind and cheerful, it already gave us a good feeling.
When we arrived, we were greeted by the friendliest staff who made us feel instantly welcome. We even got to meet the man himself, Toni, who was absolutely lovely! The whole team seemed genuinely buzzing that we’d travelled all the way from Ayr!
We ordered food to sit in—hamburger, chicken leg, and cheeseburgers—and honestly, every single bite was delicious. We left totally stuffed and so satisfied. Even though we had to read the menu a good couple of times over to choose what we wanted as there was just so much choice!! To top it all off, Toni surprised us with two free cream eggs in batter to try, and they were absolutely amazing too!
We ended our visit with a great wee chat with the staff about our wee hometown, then headed off with our deep fried Easter eggs in hand—completely full and totally happy. And yes… the eggs were everything we hoped for and more!
Toni’s is a gem—amazing food, amazing staff, and a warm, welcoming vibe. We’ll definitely be making the hour-long journey again soon… next time for a chippy! See you all soon!

Belhaven Rd, WishawMet my friend here for a coffee and was tempted to have a lovely hot chocolate with the works! ( cream and marshmallows) I had a gingerbread man ( oops person) absolutely delicious.\nNever been there before nice atmosphere, friendly girl serving kindly took my friends coffee to the table as she has a walking stick.\nVery relaxed catch up with my friend. Now I know its there I plan to go on a regular basis.

Mancini's Street Food
61-63 Westwood Rd, Newmains, WishawI was passing recently when I was working in the area and stumbled across Mancini’s. The staff were so lovely and helpful and were kind enough to let me try a sausage supper. It was very much appreciated after a very long day on the road. My Dad was with me who also give five stars, we thoroughly enjoyed our treat and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area. Thanks again Mancini’s!

Food is good but they always seem to give you pink sauce even when you specifically ask for the red one....EVERY TIME!! They clearly have red kebab sauce in the shop but I can only assume it's for display purposes ?
Even with a large kebab you get 2 pink pakora sauces - whaaat.
Sounds petty but its seriously becoming a deal breaker as we don't like the pink sauce ?
Here's hoping a last resort review sorts them out ??

33D Glasgow Rd, WishawQuite simply the best mixed meat chow mein (no prawns) I have had in Lanarkshire.
The photo does not do the chow mein justice with meat throughout the noodles as well. All the meat tasted great. Highly recommend.

I had the breakfast wrap and it was packed lovely and hot my dad had a cheese toastie and the first words out his mouth were there's so much cheese it's really nice. Will most definitely be going back wanna try the French toast. They were very good on their prices to.

Clyde Valley, 15 Lanark Rd, Rosebank, CarlukeFirst time visiting today and certainly wont be the last. The staff were friendly, helpful & attentive.
The atmosphere in the restaurant area was lovely. Not over crowded. Tables set up well.
The food was delicious and fresh.....id highly recommend the haggis crocette with whisky sauce.....delightful.
We did book for a bank holiday & after a busy sunday there were a couple of items not available however we were made aware of this earlier & the menu has lots of options to choose from.
10/10 looking forward to returning & trying the Indian menu
