This is a family run establishment and has been for a number of years. It's imperative to book for Sunday lunch as it is always heavily attended. There is normally a choice of three roast meats with specific accompanying items, crackling, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding etc. Vegetables are served separately along with gravy and sauces. We only stopped in for a couple of pints after a day of shifting and lifting, but the beer was good, and the service was super friendly. They serve a mean bag of pork scratchings, too. We've just moved into the area, so we will definitely go back to sample the food.
