The food is fine. Just don't bother ordering in advance. Better to order when you are ready for it. I placed an order at 5:10pm to arrive at 7:15pm. No communication to let me know it wouldn't arrive until at least 45 minutes after the planned time.Not the drivers fault, seems to me that it's just poor organisation/prioritising.Understandably they are busy which is a good sign! I have used Bamboo Chinese takeaway for 15 years. 25/27 meals have been very good meals and have been fine recently the last 2 years. 10? Nicely cooked King prawns in a dish, you would struggle to buy, cook and wash for the £5 they used to be, plus rice/noodles inc.
Having read recent reviews we were hesitant about ordering, but the meal we received was delicious! We gave the chef a budget of £25 inc delivery and asked them to cook a vegetarian meal for two. We received the most delicious hand made spring rolls, vegetable curry, vegetable noodles, vegetable rice and a delicious vegetable dish along with a generous bag of prawn crackers.
