What a gem,my son and I travelled over from Ireland to watch our local soccer team playing in Oswestry.Straight off the train not knowing where to get a cab,we called into the Cross Foxes and Roy was very welcoming and sorted a taxi for us. What a fantastic pub and absolutely spotlessly clean. Can't wait to go back .Well done Roy.
Not a sophisticated pub, but good friendly staff serving tidy Beers, Lager n Stout.Great for post or pre Gobowen train refreshments.Why not order your Chinese, Fish n Chips or Pizza takeaway and give yourself 30 minutes drinking time. Life isn't for rushing.

Popped in for quick drink waiting for a lift ... I was served quickly and correctly however there was no other banter or conversation from barman... Maybe if I had stayed for another things would have been better.. other than that seemed like a nice pub... thanks
