We visited as a party of ten for a birthday. The restaurant was packed which is always a good sign. The staff were very friendly and took our order for drinks and food. The drinks promptly arrived followed by the starters. All the food was piping hot and delicious. The mains were very tasty and everyone on our table enjoyed. Looking for an Indian Restaurant in Oswestry, we spotted Simla and were really pleased we had. From the moment we arrived at the door we were greeted as friends would be and throughout the evening everyone we interacted with was really friendly and efficient. We had recently been to a great Indian near London that would be hard to beat. Simla in Oswestry was up to the mark and excellent. Great curries with large portions. A bit on the low side on heat, but that seems to be the case the further away you get from London. As a local Indian restaurant I would say that you couldn’t do better. I wish they had a sister restaurant in Vancouver where I live!
