Attended for quiz night and chocolate bingo. What a fab night out. Service was amazing friendly staff and atmosphere. We haven't had food bit when seen food brought out looked lovely, we will be going back for food soon.

When you eat Christiana's food it's like a holiday for your senses. A go to for many of us shrewsbury folk, her curries are the perfect lunch to have when visiting the market, and the fact you can buy then to make yourself too means you can enjoy them all week.
A regular of the shrewsbury market it's not just the delicious food that keeps us coming back time and time again! Christiana's bubbly and bright personality feels like home and her food is a warm hug for your belly. We are so lucky to have such varied cuisine in our town and as far as I'm aware she's the only chef serving up Afro Carribean food, I know for a few people it was the first time trying the cuisine! Always smiling and happy for a chat so many of us come to the markers especially to visit her. It doesn't feel like a trip unless we buy a curry to share and one of those delicious lamb patties (that, I'll admit, I never share) served with a side of conversation and laughs! Not sure what more I could ask For.

We were a party of 7 adults on 08/04/26 celebrating my aunt’s forthcoming birthday. Mark welcomed us and we sat at our reserved table. Everything felt very relaxed & once we’d ordered our drinks, we were soon able to go up to the carvery. The young lady serving the carvery was lovely & friendly. She even went to the back to fetch more vegetables (tender stem broccoli & peas) for our daughter who is vegan. Our daughter was most impressed with the young lady’s helpfulness.
We would definitely go to the Tayleur Arms again as the food & service was lovely. We also ordered dessert which was delicious.
