Toasted teacake was absolutely delicious. Tasted like real butter. Apart from that, I'm not a fan of serving mug of camomile with the tea bag left in so after I've sat down for a minute to let it brew, I have to get up to find somewhere to put the used bag. Would be nicer to serve on a saucer. I do like table service especially when travelling with a dog or lots of shopping bags, because having to get up and down to the counter to collect your food is a real problem. Excellent food and service at the counter, with a wide range of savoury dishes and sweet cakes. It can be very busy around lunchtime and difficult to get a table. Ordered some hot food but had to go to the counter to collect it. It would be really good if they could give you a number then bring it to your table. Would definitely go again.

Love this little cafe, the staff are always so nice and the food and coffee is delicious. The atmosphere is great to sit down and do a bit of work, and it’s not outrageously priced, especially if you’re able to get a student discount on the food.
