I'm staying for 3 days for work. I'm lecturing so need a good night's sleep and somewhere to eat. The hotel was busy with guests, LOTS of guests for Christmas meals, One of the senior wait staff saw me to my room and promised me a table even though they were rammed. Lovely hotel, beautiful room, and the best concierge we ever came across! Downstairs is dated, but the lovely Bill, showed us all the way to our lovely room, which was freshly and tastefully decorated, and absolutely immaculately clean. Breakfast great, and the town of Bridgewater absolutely lovely.
As a parent of an 11 and 15 Yr old we were invited to a 40th birthday party, we were apprehensive that a town centre venue wouldn't be stress free not somewhere we knew of previously.The venue, conference room was easy to access and the door staff were super nice, at the 10 pm we left for food and I asked the door staff to re enter and spend a penny and use the loo.Would definitely consider it as a venue for family gathering as the drinks were reasonably priced and it seems like...read full review
