Come here for brilliant ales that change regularly and convivial traditional atmosphere with no pretentious decor. Don’t forget to bring cash as electronic payment wouldn’t work - yup, that traditional and all the better for it.
Had a lovely couple of jars last night, great there's no TV, so little news of football.Andy the landlord was fantastic as usual and the locals are all friendly.Rolling selection of carefully curated ales, ciders and local gins & a cider brandy.They also have a few bottled beers from Belgium.Andy produces and sells his own biltong, other snacks are available.Friday is curry night care of local food entrepreneur.This is a quirky venue, intimate but not too small.Star of the venue...read full review

In Frome for a long weekend and found Just ales 2. Great ales, great local gins, but best of all such a warm welcome. Walked in strangers but left friends. Lovely hosts and customers. A special mention to Oscar the dog. Will definitely be going back. Fran and Charlie
