97 Fore St, North Petherton, BridgwaterWe were passing through on our journey to Exmoor, found this place on route and we’re so glad we did.
The friendliest cafe, we noticed the owner spoke to everyone like she knew them all or had a genuine interest in everybody. Very very rare to have this nowadays. At the time we were there she was doing it all herself and absolutely nailing it.
Nice simple menu. Broccoli and Stilton soup was devine, handmade no less. Not pretentious, not your new age instagram joint. A real friendly British cafe and smashing it. Bakes all her sweet treats, Mint Aero Brownie was a hit!
Cosy, clean, good food, good value. Amazing service. Would happily return.

85 Fore St, North Petherton, BridgwaterAbsolutely cracking Eggs Benedict! It’s my go-to breakfast that I have everywhere that offers it. I’ve had dozens in different cafes and restaurants, including Harrods, this was by far the BEST I have ever had! Beautiful sourdough, lovely ham, tasty eggs and the best hollandaise by a country mile, beautifully freshly made with skill and care, balanced to perfection. (The chai latte did not disappoint either ?)

The food isn’t cheap but it’s such good quality and well prepared, it was served in good time and was piping hot and fresh! The lamb was so tender like it was slow cooked. Fantastic modern and very clean, comfortable interior. I don’t agree with the hidden service charge being placed on top of already very high area prices.
I really enjoyed my time here, I recommend it and would return.

Market Way, BridgwaterSuzanne served us and was the most wonderful person. She was so friendly and welcoming, helped us with questions about the menu and what we were choosing, and was really nice to talk to. The food was amazing, really tasty and well cooked. A really lovely experience all round, and would highly recommend.

Picture doesn’t really do it much justice but the portion size for a small was more than adequate.

121 Fore St, North Petherton, BridgwaterJust stopped on the way to the train station this evening to collect my Son at 7:25pm and I wasn’t disappointed. Ordered Cod and small chips and I must say it was freshly cooked and tasted absolutely amazing. Looked like there was some refurbishment going on so I was a bit apprehensive but I tell you what; my cod and chips was the best I’ve tasted in a very long time. Will definitely go back for more. 10 out of 10 from me.
