The Canal inn
The Far Canal, Wrantage, TauntonBeen meaning to stop here for lunch as we live in Langport and so it's on the way to Taunton, when we go.It's beautiful. Very tastefully decorated. Extremely comfortable dining chairs (I have a bad back)Food was delicious and service excellentVegetarian options: I had the Portabello Mushroom and Blue Cheese Burger and it was delicious ??

Bird In Hand
Queen Square, North Curry, TauntonWhat a welcome, the atmosphere was lovely and the locals made you feel at home.Staff were attentive and friendly, lots of smiles and laughter with us. We were a family of eight with 3 dogs and ate on a Saturday night. The food was exceptional and so very tasty. Chef came out and we thanked him.Very clean and the decor was beautiful.Highly recommend a visit as you won’t be disappointed.
