A pub that has been on our radar a while to visit. It is a locals pub, but nonetheless very welcoming with a buzz of conversation evident. The menu can be classed as ‘proper pub food’ with a surprisingly wide selection including a specials selection as well. Mixed grill, curry & Yorkshire pud and sausages made up our order and all were superb! A homely pub with giant food portions, plenty usual faces and unusual interior design ?. Seriously, the cheesecake is to die for, chips are the best in somerset (really) and the lasagne is brilliant. Returned to here a few times now, and they do really well. Had a roast recently; beef was a tad dry but everything else was tasty and aptly portioned. Thanks!
