The Lady working the bar on Friday night was great when a car we were collecting had broken down outside the pub. She got us different things to help and was a great ambassador for the pub! Will be coming back to the pub at some point to actually have a drink as the atmosphere and customer service was great!
A real community pub. Unchanged over the years, and one of the few traditional style inns left. Always friendly, a welcoming atmosphere and a great favourite with the locals, and an excellent selection of beers and ciders on tap. Difficult to fault this. Like going back in time it is full of community spirit. Dog friendly as well.

Very welcoming, friendly local pub with an absolutely top notch landlord with great chat. Apparently the breakfasts, served on Saturdays only, are fantastic too - not tried them yet but sounds like you get a heck of a lot for £7.50 so you can’t go wrong really. Very much enjoyed this pub tonight and will be back within the next couple of weeks for the Saturday breakfast! Great great place!
