500 Bath Rd, Saltford, BristolGreat food served in a nicely decorated pub. Inside, conservatory and garden dining options. Decor is very nice, service has been excellent when I visited. Staff deserve tipping, but maybe that's not a 'Saltford thing' yet.

The Thai Saltford
489 Bath Rd, Saltford, BristolI popped in earlier today to get an order and was complimented with some free Soup and Rice, which was absolutely delicious and wish I had got more. The greeting was fantastic, I felt very welcome and cared for. I would Highly recommend and will definitely be returning. Best, Zach

58 High St, Saltford, BristolPopped in for a pint whilst cycling back from bath on the cycle way. Nice to find Thatchers cheddar valley on tap. Enjoyed that sitting on the terrace. Take it easy on those if your getting back on your bike though. It has special properties.

Glenavon Farm, Bath Rd, Saltford, BristolVery Friendly staff, lovely venue. The interior of the restaurant is fantastic. We had the full breakfast. Every part ingredient of the breakfast was top quality, I just had a couple of niggles. There wasn’t enough butter supplied for the type of bread used for the toast. The toast only appeared toasted be toasted on one side. Not enough beans, again put them on the plate not in a pot! The salt pot on the table was empty, these things should be checked every morning before opening. Would definitely return here.

Mead Ln, Saltford, BristolI came here for Sunday roast with some friends, and the food was delicious — the roast was generous and full of flavour, and the staff were very friendly and attentive.
I also want to share a personal experience to say how much I appreciate this place as a woman dining out. One person in our group was a man I barely knew, who kept trying to touch my hand, insistently talk to me, and, later at the pub, tried to order exactly the same food as me. When it came time to pay, he was determined to pay for my meal even though he didn’t pay for anyone else’s. I didn’t feel comfortable with this at all, as I barely know him and don’t want to feel indebted to someone acting inappropriately.
Thankfully, the staff at the bar were incredibly professional and supportive. When I firmly asked to pay separately, they backed me up completely. Even when the man tried to pay for part of my meal on his phone, the staff stepped in, stood their ground, and ensured I was able to pay for my own meal.
I’m so grateful for how the staff handled it discreetly and respectfully. It made me feel safe and respected as a female customer.
This place is not only great for food, but also feels like a woman-friendly environment where staff genuinely care about your comfort and boundaries. I highly recommend it — and the Sunday roast is fantastic!
