Arrived on Sunday with my wife and daughter to a warm welcome. We were shown to a table not to our liking, so we asked if we could sit elsewhere and without hesitation we were able to choose a table that suited us. Laura and her team could not have treated us better, nothing was too much trouble. Very professional all around. The staff were really friendly, polite and couldn’t be more helpful. We stayed in room 12 on the 6th and left on the 7th. The room was very clean, had plenty of amenities and our children loved it. Breakfast was superb and the value was just incredible, we’d happily stay at the Bear Inn again.

Food was outstanding. One of the most flavoursome meals for this range of pub in a long time.Great vegetarian options as well.Reasonably priced.Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and let us know we had a slight wait due to a large party. This wasn't long.The hummus 'while you wait' was delicious with warmed pittas.We aren't local but if we were we would go back. Would definitely recommend.Atmosphere was lovely. It was busy but not loud. Very clean.
